Poverty and remote locations make access to good education difficult.
Social stigma against cancer still exists making integration into society a challenge.
Usually first generation learners or coming from barely literate families, our children lack role models for education, vocation and career choice.
How we do it:
Our activities are geared to ensure that these children are equipped to be self-sufficient and independent. Financial support and guidance to facilitate their achieving their aspirations in education along with any medical and counselling needs.
We collaborate with other organisations and individuals who are experienced in the fields of education, mentoring, career guidance and vocational skilling. The model provides for customised support to these children to ensure their individual circumstances are factored in.
