Key Responsibilities
· Inform and educate centre staff, parents, and housekeeping staff of the value, need, and method of maintaining hygiene at the Centres
· Should implement the policy and procedure laid down in the infection manual in all centres
· Will monitor and evaluate the impact of the infection prevention and control strategies and working practice
· Audit Centres to evaluate that the recommended procedures are being followed
· Will lead the program of infection prevention in the centres as per national and regional guideline and documented. Also, update it annually with updating of guidelines
· Should identify and take appropriate action to control the outbreak of infection
· Report each month to Senior Management on the status of infection control in each location PAN India - issues, resolution, etc.
· Should play a role model and use advanced expertise to advise and discipline of staff on appropriate care for all patients and families and also act as a specialist advisor to all staff at the centres on issues related to infection prevention and control.
· Initiate activities and conduct sessions to ensure that procedures are reinforced, and all new staff and parents are informed.
· Should implement the resources provides by organization for prevention and control of infection
· Should coordinate with all centre heads to plan and implement training program in their respective centres
· Should plan, organize and coordinate audit and monitoring of centres to ensure the infection prevention and control practices are being followed
· Liaise with the hospitals as needed to collaborate on infection control issues- chickenpox, MDRO etc.
· Prepare necessary reports on weekly and monthly basis
· Oversee all the Infection control activities for all the centres across locations PAN India and work closely with the Centre Operations team.

Qualification and Experience
· B.Sc Nursing degree / M.Sc Nursing Degree
· 15/20 years’ experience as a nurse or in infection control domain
