Ms. Gargi MashruwalaChairperson, Head - Second Circle

Gargi has been associated with St. Judes since its inception and is committed to giving joy and hope to the children at St.Judes and their families during their difficult period. A freelance accountant, Gargi was the Financial Controller of the UNESCO award winning team for the restoration and revitalisation project of the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum in Mumbai in the year 2005. She is also a consultant to INTACH Mumbai.

Ms. Manisha ParthasarathyVice Chairperson, Head - Development Team

With her experience from working in organisations as diverse as Samaritans in Paris, Mothers Choice in Hong Kong and the HIV Unit of Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore, Manisha brings her personal commitment to a more caring world to her current role as Vice Chairperson of SJICC. As part of the SJICC leadership team, she helps drive initiatives ranging from expanding SJICC's footprint across the country to fundraising and from innovation to skill training programs.

Ms. Mukeeta JhaveriVice Chairperson

A retired career investment banker, Mukeeta is currently consulting in contemporary Indian art, philanthropy and CSR in the cultural space. Her focus at St. Judes is on scaling up and new projects. More recently, she has been tasked with leading our Covid-19 War room, and is a member of our Executive and Risk Management Committees. She also serves on the boards of Raymond Ltd and UTI Mutual Fund Trustee Company. 

Mr. Ashutosh PednekarDirector, Hon. Treasurer

Ashutosh is a practising Chartered Accountant with M P Chitale & Co since 1987. His passion at work includes client satisfaction, mentoring, technology & innovation, helping regulators and national and international professional bodies in standards setting, while outside of work it is primarily family, friends, travelling, reading (prefers a paper book to a digital one), social media & St. Jude India ChildCare Centres.

Mr. Utpal SenguptaDirector

After having worked with ConAgra Foods and Unilever, both in India and abroad, for 36 years, Utpal now works as a strategic adviser to companies, part time coach, member of governing bodies and board of directors of various organisations in both the corporate and social sectors. He is our Team Leader for Kolkata.

Mr. Aditya MangaldasDirector

Aditya heads the SJICC Premises team, bringing with him his experience in designing and building luxury homes in Alibag. He was the President of St. Judes from 2009 to 2012. With his knowledge of cost management, financial planning and renovation of Centres, he ensures that the renovation and refurbishment of all our Centres creates viable and pleasant spaces for the children and their families.

Mr. Jai DiwanjiDirector

Jai guides the organisation in its legal matters. He is a partner at Desai & Diwanji, one of the oldest and most reputed full service law firms in India.

Roopali MashruwalaDirector, Team Leader - Third Circle

 An architect in the field of design for 24 years, Roopali has specialised in spatial interior design. With a Masters from the University Of Michigan Ann Arbor where she specialised in architectural design and urban planning, she has continued her passion for the Conservation And Preservation Of Built Cultural Heritage. She also has a deep interest in painting, ceramics, and traditional Indian art. She has been volunteering at St. Judes since 2018. During the lockdown, she introduced art therapy as a tool to maintain mental and physical stability for the families and staff. Under her, all Third Circle activities are now designed to maintain and enhance the well-being of children, their parents, and our staff.  

Anil NairDirector, Chief Executive Officer

Before joining St. Judes, Anil was leading government engagement, reforms and advocacy initiatives at Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy – a non-profit working in the area of urban governance reform. Prior to that, he was with PRS Legislative Research. He has also managed a Pan-India programme on AIDS awareness among long-distance truckers as part of a project supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
